Women’s Captain: Matilda Thatcher

A lack of hockey players among this year’s freshers meant that committed hockey players in Queen’s organised two temporary collaborations; a student-led arrangement with St Anne’s for mixed hockey and with St Hilda’s for women’s hockey. This enabled some players from all three colleges to find a way to keep on playing some competitive hockey matches.  It is to be hoped that next year’s Queen’s intake will include more hockey players, or more students who would like to try playing hockey.
